Tho autumn meeting in future is to include tour days' racing, and the added money to the Newmarket Handicup is increased to £500. HAWKESBURY R. C. AUTUMN MEETING. [beuteb's copyright telegrams.] The first day's racing of the Hawkesbury Racing Club's Autumn Meeting took pluco at Hawkesbury on Thuisday. Though :he weather was showery the attenduuee on all purls of the ground won large, ihe course was in good order. The following following are the results: — Hdbdle Race. — Whitefoot 1, Quong Tart 2, Dragon 3. Time 3min ssecs. Rowley Mile.— Matador 1, Stanley 2, Honeycomb 3. Fifteen horses started. The race resulted in a great finish, Matador winning by a short head. Time, linin 4d£sec. Ulabet Stake. — Abercorn 1, Sumatra 2, Huntingtower 3. Won easily. Time, limn ssec. Public Auction Stakes. — Fangh-a-Ballagh 1, Sentence 2, Pinkie 3. Railway Handicap. — folly 1, Willeroo 2, Di earner 3. Sydney, March. 31. — Nelson did a splendid two miles galop at Rand wick this morning. He continues first favorite for the Sydney Gold Cup. LATEfaT BaTTiss. — The following is the latest betting on the Sydney Gold Cvp — Nelson 9 to 2, Tom Brown 8 to 1, Crossfire 14 to 1, Myall King 16 to 1, Nelson ib in good iorin.
