AT the mart, on Saturday, fowls made Is Id to Is 3d ; ducks, 18 6(1 ; r lymouth Bocks, 12s 6d per pair ; potatoes, 3a to 4s ; bailey, 3s 3d; maize, 4s 3d; onions, l£d to'2d. Bidding for general goods was very inactive.
Baymarket Yards. — Pigs : Slips made 5s to 9d ; stores, 14s. Trap nnd harness, £20.
- 1 held a sale at Tikorangi for Mr. Matchett on Thursday. Bidding was rather dull. ;
Cattle. — The Stratford yards were .pjiore than full on Tuesday, UDfortunately nearly all were female stcck, and these were rather slow of sale. Yearliogs said at fair rates and good, springers sold at high prices. Yearlings, £1128 to £2; 3-year steerp, £4; cows, forward, £4 to £4 10s; springing heifers, £1 10s to £b 10s; heifers, springing, £4; store cowb, £2 10s. Very few were yarded at Omata on Wednesday, Yearlings, 20s to 3Rs; cows, £5 to £5; heifers, £3 lOe.
Fat Cattle. — We x?ere.,fortunate;in getting 69 bullocks away byt e Wak»tipu, for Sydney. This will, I hope, be the first of many shipments. Produce. — Butter is falling everywhere, and' ia hard to sell. Potatoes are in full supply. Seed samples of imported circalar heads in great demand. ' ' ;
