IIAWKESBURY (N.S.W.) SPRING MEETING. [uEDTER'f COI'YRIGIIT TELEGRAMS.] The first day's racing of tho Spring Meeting took place at Hawkesbuiy, (N.S. W.), on Thursday. The weather was lino, and the attendance was good. The racing throughout was of tho highest order. Eventß :—: — Spuing Handicap.— Pet Girl, 1: Victory, 2 ; 'Alma, 3. Elaven started. Pet Qirl won (insily. tiAWKESDCTRY GUINEAS. — Kingfisll, 1 ; Crosß.'ire, 2 ; Tamarisk, 3. The other starters were Acme, Gentility, Coroban, and Lord William. The race resulted in a very close finish. Time, lmin. -iOsec. County Purse. — Burrilda, 1 ; Folly, 2 ; Ilogtnauy, 3. Eighteen started. Won by threo lengths. Time, lmin. 44secs. SiiPTtoiiiEu Handicap,— -Paldiu, 1; llere'a Luck, 2 ; Torouto, 3. Thirteen atartod, Won easily. Time, lmin, lGJsees.
