VOLUANIU ACTION DYING OUT.
Professor Hutchin arrived iv Auckland on Saturday night from the Lake country. He, with Professor Brown, considers that the volcauic action is gradually dying out, aud believes that vegetation will grow over the deposit at Wairoa aud make tho district again habitable.
