A claim for £2,250 by the owners of tho Star of tho Houth, recently wrecked at Greymouth, agniust the National Insurance Company, was heard at the Supreme Court. • It ' was contended that the insurance policy was void, on account of a breach of warranty that the vessel would not enter Greymonth without the assistance of a tug. The plaintiff alleged that ,the vessel was lost by " barratry" of the master. The only questiou submitted to tho jury was whether the master was guilty of " barratry," and it was found he was. His Honor entered judgment for the amount claimed. A new trial is to be moved for.
