These races came off on Tuesday, and the principal events resulted as follows: — Free Handicap, of lOOsova. 1 mile and a distance. The Bard and Yankee wcro scratched. New York got the best of a bad start, followed by Administrator and Bayard. At the back turn, New York still held the lead, Administrator lying 2nd, nnd Rumor 3rd. Opposite the grand stand they were all in a bunch, New York just being in front. Entering the straight New York was in front, Administrator and Bumor being his immediate attendants. A splendid race ensued, the two running neck nn-i neck, Administrator winning by half a length, which he gained a few strides from home, Rumor a length away, third.
