Sinoe the Southern Cross was last hero, she has been eugageil on several special trips out of Fiji, tho last being for the purpose of returning 121 Polynesian laborers. This was effected without any serious-trouble at Santa. Anna McDonald and family, who aro the only white people on the lslaud, complained that the natives have been very troublesome of late, having murdered a nativo behind their private residence on the day before the Southern Gross called, and had also threatened to murder McDonald and family.
