LAND BOARD.

The Land Board met on Monday. Prevent: The Chief Commissioner (in the chair), Messrs. Crompton, Kelly, and Syme. Extension of Time. — Tho following applications for extension of time for payment of instalments were granted for six months : — George Taylor, section 49, Moa; Mathias Sattlor, section 242, Huirangi ; Timothy Cosgrave, section 10, block 5, Nguiro ; C. T. Thorp, section 112, Moa. a Application to Purchase. — F. H. Peun applied for permission to purchase sections 980 to 98G (inclusive), Town of Stratford. — The Secretary wus instructed to inform the applicant that tho Board did uot feel inclined to put up uny Bections outside the urea already prioed until there is more demand for them. Application to Capitalise. -~~Tho application of Thomas Cox to capitalise section 18, Block 18, Huirou, was granted. , The Board then adjourned.
