HAWERA.
[TELEGRAPHED BY OUR CORRESPtNDENT.] December 10. — News reached here this niorning of the accidental death of James Harvey, busli-faller, at Eltham. The neighbours missed him on Saturday morning, and after a search he was discovered crushed under a tree. The accident had happened on Friday. The work of extricating him was difficult, and was not accomplished until midnight on Saturday, by which time he had died. Deceased comes from London, and leaves about £70 iv cash, by a deposit receipt. The weather continues wet and cold and unseasonable.
