Joly 24. — Two men named Petersen and .Clark were drowned off the bar last nigbt. They had been fishing, and it is supposed that in attempting to cross the bar t the boat capsized. One of the men hung on to the boat for a long time, but nothing could be done to save him. ■ The boat came ashore this morning, and part of the men's dothing, but the bodies have not been recovered.
