AUSTRALIAN TELEGRAMS.
Melbourne, July 28.
The prisoner Burns who was found guilty of the murder of Michael Quinlivan, at Wickliffe, in 1880, has been sentenced to death.
A telegram has been received here reporting that the British Indian Steamship Teviotdale, 1018 tons, from London, May 18, has anchored in the Gulf of Carpentaria, with her propellerblade broken. ■
