THE REV. MR. TAYLOR.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — Having heard that the Rev. Mr. Taylor, of Inglewood, has been offered a church in tho Wellington Diocese, I hope that the members of St. Mary's Church will not rllow so popular and talented a preacher to leave this district, but will make arrangements for his assisting Archdeacon Govett in New Plymouth. A young man is wanted in town, as he is better able to cope with the growing infidelity of the age than those who have been years in the ministry. I feel certain that i£ Mr. Taylor were to take pirt of the service at St. Mary's he would in a great measure remove the concretions which have grown round that congregation, and the revenue would considerably increase. — I am, &c, CIIDRCHMAN. New Plymouth, June 22, 1882. ,
