Messrs. R. H. NOLAN & OO 'R (HAWERA) MONTHLY REPORT. Prodnce sales daring the month have been well attended. Bidding was brisk, and goods were quitted at satisfactory rotes. The clearins? sale at Mr. T. Roper's nnrserv brought a large attendance of buyers. Bidding was brisk, e»ery ar'iole realising a high flsrore. The hnnse and land was passed in at £550. Stock —At our monthly sale at Manaia, on the 1 «t Jnnp, thprp was a very poor mnster of stock, and few sold. At the Hawera yards on the Bth, a very nice lot of sfock was brought to t^e hammer, and. despite the inclemency of the weather and comparatively small attendanceof bnyero, saHsfnctorv rates were obtained and evpry pen was cleared. Cattle.—lß4 head were yprded. We quote: Weaners, 32s 6d ; 18-month-old heifers, dS2 16s; fat cows. JS4 2s Gd to £4 12« 6d; cows and calves. £4 7s 61 ; 3-venr-old steers, £5 14s 6-1 ; fat bullock", £5 18s 6d; milch cows, £4 10? to £4 IP3.
