The Btrong ill-feeding of the native population of this city towards the Europeans manifested itself last evening in an attack by large bodies of the former upon several parties of English and other residents. In the affrays which took place, several Europeans were killed, including the engineer of H.M.S. Superb, and many were wounded, including the British Consul, who suffered a very severe injury. The disturbance was ultimately suppressed by the military being called out, when order was restored.
