[BY TELEGRAPH.] AUCKLAND— Yesterday.
Pboduce.— Butter (fresh), 7d to 8d perlb.; salt, 6d; eggs. Is 3d per doz.; bacon and hams, provincial, sd. to 7d.; Canterbury do., bare Bd. to B§d.; potatoes, £2 10s to £3 per ton.
Wool, Hides, Skins, kc— At the sale of hides, skins, and wool at the Haymarket on Tuesday (Feb. 7), best hides brought from 3j)d to 3fd per lb.; pelts, 3i<i -jt sheepskins, lOd to Is lid ; lambskins, 2s 3d each ; tallow, 21s 9d to 25s 3d per cwt.. showing a considerable rise in price ; lambs' wool, 7^d ; long wool in grease, 7d to 7j'd ; merino wool, 8d to Bid per lb. Foddeh. — Mr. Alfred Buckland reports that at the Haymarket on Friday (Feb 3) fodder was plentiful, and brought from 2s 3d to 4s 3d per cwt.; small loads, 16s to 315.; straw, 14s to 24s per load.
House Stock.— Mr. A. Buckland reports that at the Hayniarket on Friday (Feb. 3) there was a large number of horses yarded, and for all lots of a useful si amp the competition was good. Medium draughtuubrokea stock from £21 to £23 ; heavy draught, £35 ; medium, draught, £15 to £2-1 ; harness horses and hacks. £5 to £15. The majority of thoso entered were .disposed of.
Cattle, Sheep, &c— Mr. Buckland reports that at Waiuku on Saturday (Feb. 4) a moderate supply of cattle met with fair enquiry. — At Pukekohe on Monday (Feb. 6) an unusually full market of stock met with a good demand, there being steady enquiry throughout the sale. — At Remuera on Thursday (Feb. 9) dairy stock, were numerous and in steady demand at slightly improved values. Store cattle were also in full numbers and with better enquiry than last week ; fat cattle were in moderate supply ; best quality maintained last week's values, but inferior animals were lower in price, which ranged from 17s to 22s per lOOlbs. Store piys of good quality were plentiful ami in brisk demand. Sheep were in full numbers, and at the opening of the sales last week's values were given, but prices tell as the sale proceeded fully 2s per head. Prices ranged from barely 2{d to 2£d per lb. Lambs numerous and at low values.

£3; National, £1 145.; Standard, 24s. t T Colonial, 13s ; Union, 24s (kl. U. Sash i Door Co.. £8 (exdiv.); Bay of Islands Coal Co., £0 10s; Auckland Timber Co., £7 ; New Zealand Shipping Co., £5 l.">s ; National Mortgage Co., 30s. — Messrs. Frater Brothers report that Bank shares continue the favourite stock. Sales this week of Bank of New Zealand, at £23 7s fid to £23 los : Colonial Bauk, ISs: National li.mk, T'Js. With the exception of New Zealand Insurance at 79s there are no enquiries for this description of stock. Timber shares maintain late values ; Union Sash and Door, ' £8 ; Auckland Timber Co., £7 ; New Zealand Drug shares firm at 255. Thames Mining shares in better favor ; Caledonian shares (sales), 13s to 10s.
