Mu. K. C. Hughes' letter on the views of the Temperance Party with regard to the election of the Licensing Committee we have been compelled to hold over till to-morrow. Lux,— Your letter shall have our earliest attention. Vekitas has not sent his name ; but even had he done so he surely could not have expected us to publish his letter as he has sent it to us. P. G., Opunakk, — There is no definition of a •• householder " or a •■ resident householder " in '• The Municipal Corporations Act, 187 C;" but a "bnrgess" is described as " every person of the full age of twenty- one years whose name appears on the Burgess Roll of a Borough or any Ward or War 's of a Borough."
