It has never been equalled by any other Dip EXTRACT FROM THE TRANSACTIONS OF THE HIGHLAND AND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY OF SCOTLAND, 1870 :— "An infinite variety of proprietary and Patent Dips are now finding their way into the Market. Pome of theeo are really good, some indifferent, and others absolutely bad. We believe Cooper's to be tho longest established and cheapest, nnd also tho m«st extensively used. As shown by the railway books, it appears no less than 1200 dozen packages, or enough to dip 288,000 pheep, aro sent out weekly. It is us^d extensively on the Coutinent, and in the Colonies, accompanied by ' directions for use' priuted in many languages. As a Summer and Autumn Dip we consider it second to none, and hnvo always used it. Its cheapness and extreme solubility in cold water particularly recommend it for these purposes." Since the above was written tho salo has more than doubled. From James Alexandbr, Esq., Waneanui. " Seven years ago I was induced to buy eight cases of your Sheep Dipping Compound, and, as an experiment, I used a few packets according to the directions. I selected a few old ewes, not caring whether I lost them or not, and not one of them was injured in the least. I afterwards dipped my whole Flock of 10,000, nnd'did not lose one. "I now dip for Lice, nnd find it most effectual. I am also told by my neighbours it is equally po for Scab. "I have dipped over 50,000 sheep with it, nnd never lost but one, and this animal was seen licking itsolf just after it left the baths. I consider that with ordinary care your Dipping Powder, used on a large or small scale, is perfectly safe. The chief point being to see that the sheep are quito dry before they are turned out to grass." From Mr. Thomas Middleton, Manager for the Hon. Robert Campbell, Benmoro Estate, Waitald. " Coopor'a Dip is tho best dip for Lambs I ever used." From Duncan McMaster, Esq., Wairarapa. "I have used Cooper's Dipping Powder for about four years, and am well satisfied with the results, believing it to be lasting in its effects." " To Mr. COOPER, Berkhamsted, Eugland. Auckland, October 12, 1880. " Dear Sir, — Accompanying our order l>y this mail we are pleased to observe that your Sheep' Dipping Compound is steadily paining ground in this pnrfc of New Zealand. "At the request of our customers we have occasionally imported Dips by other firms, but our buyers have invariably fallen back to the use of Cooper's Sheep Dip. " Tho Flock-masters who bavo written to us on the subject have always spoken in the highest terms of tho article. — Wo are, yours, &c, "J. C. SHARLAND & Co., Manufacturing Chemists."
