' Improvement of the WaitdJar Rioer, — The Bbsrtl took into consideration the advisability ofj at once commencing the works as advised by Sir John Coode, the Assembly having passed the Bill empowering the Board to borrow the sum of £10,000. — It was resolved, h Th,at preliminary arrangements be made for , vigorously pushing on the river improvements," and instruction's were given to procure the necessary dredging gear from Melbourne, and to call for tenders for the construction of a : dredge.
Storekeeper. — It was resolved, <l That the assistant wharfinger, Mr. A. .Cameron, be appointed storekeeper, in addition to his present dijti'es." Future Meetings. — It was resolved, " That in; future the nieetings'of the7 Board r shall be htjld on the first Wednesday in the month."
