The following is an abstract of salaries, travelling ajlowauces, and other expenses paid to, or on behalf of, Sir Julius Yogel, by the New Zealand Government, from the time of his taking office, on June 29, 1869, to May 31, 1880 — the date of the latest accounts received from England at the date of the order :—: — Salary as member of Executive (June 29, 1869, to Sept. 19, 1872 ; Oct. 29, 1872, to Sept. 8, 1876), £9161 Us. 3d. As Agent-General (Sept. 9, 1876, to May 31, 1880), £5758 6s. 7d. Travelling allowance and expenses Inter-Colonial Conference, 1869-70, £454 Bs. Expenses of mission to England (1871-72), £2496 Bs. Travelling allowance and expenses Australian Conference (1872-73), £445. jExpenses of mission to England (1874175), £1015. Special allowance for (mission to England (1875-76), £2891 Bs. Expenses of removal to England as Agent-General (1876-77), £700. Honorarium voted for services in England f1877-78), £3000. Travelling expenses in the Colony, £1082 os. 6d. Travelling expenses as AgentGeneral, £189 3s. 9d. Total, £27,193 16s. Id.
