MIRTHFUL MORSELS.
Mrs. Smithers is old-fashioned, and calls rather " ruther," and neither " nuther ;" but you eat a piece of her mince j)ie once, and you'll never stick lip your nose at her again. An Illinois chap, in describing a gale of wind, says : " A white dog, while attempting to weather the gale, was caught with his mouth open, and turned completely inside out."
