Wellington, May 19.— The business was concluded this morning. Decree nisi was granted in the following cases : — Hedley v. Hedley (Wellington), Wilson v. Wilson (Wellington), Mulgway v Mudgway (Wellington.)
ACCIDENT AT THE SUGAR LOAVES. Yesterday an accident happened at the Sugar Loaves to Mr. C. McDonald, foreman, while he and some other men were engaged conveying a portion of the plant just landed to its proper place. A large piece of iron work, weighing about two tons, was placed on a pair of trolley wheels, and while it was being drawn by a horse, it jolted against some obstruction, and the heavy piece of machinery coming in contact with some piles, displaced them, and they crushed Mr. McDonald severely about the legs, but no bones were fractured. He was removed to his home, where he received medical treatment.
