In the House of Commons this evening, the consideration of the Irish Land Bill was resu.oed. fu the course of the debate Mr. Gladstone made a speech in which he said the Government attached its fortunes to the bill, and would strenuously oppose any amendments which might be proposed affecting the principles of the measure as introduced. GREEK F SON HER QUESTION. Constantinople, May 16. The Ambassadors of the Powers have under their consideration the conditions now placed by the Porte upon the proposed transfer of territory in Thessaly and ISpirus to Greece After deliberating, the Ambassadors unanimously de. cided to reject the stipulations of the Porte, and the latter has been urged to withdraw them. NEW RUSSIAN MINISTER. St. Petersburg, May 16. General Tguatieff has been appointed ■linister of the Interior, in the place of General Doris Malikoff, resigned.
