HARBOUR BOARD.
TO THE EDITOR. Sni, —l understand that the election of six members of the Harbour Board takes place during the early part of next month. Would you kindly inform myself and others the date for receiving nominations as it is apparently being kept a profound secret.- -I am &c, Ratepayer. [The Harbours Act 1878, provides " that on the second Monday in the month of February in every alternate . year there shall be an election of elective members for the Board." Therefore the 14th February next ■will be the day on which candidates can be nominated. —Ed. T.IT.]
