MAIL NOTICES. Mails will be closed at the Chief Postoffice. Devon-street, as follows :—: — f-y For Auckland and Northern Ports, per Taiaroa, to-morrow (Saturday), at noon. For Bell Block, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays ai 3.30 p.m. For Huiranci on Tuesdays and' Saturdays at 3.30 p.m. respectively. For Waitara. twice daily — 6 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. For Omatn, Oakura, and Okato on Wednesdays arid Saturdays at 3 p.m. For Lepperton on Tuesdays and Fridays at $.30 p.iu. C 3?» Letters, &c, are delivered daily in Town by a letter-carrier at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (Sundays and public holidays excepted.) Travelling letter-boxes will be attached to the train, to permit the posting of letters (with the proper postage alfixed.) Letter receiving-boxes are fixed at Mr. W. Boale's, Brougham-street; aud Mr. J. Pugh's. Devon-street, and will be cleared daily at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.; and half-an-hour before the closing of thb *nails by the steamers. • A re-ceiving-box is also fixed at Mr. J.- Handy's store, corner of Courtenay and Elliot-streets, which will be cleared at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
