Passengers are requested not to enter or leave the cars while in motion.

GENERAL CONDITIONS.

The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Traius at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arißing either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fareß paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. Luggage. — Each person is allowed to take 112!bs. of personal loggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), and for every 561bs. above the weight, for esery 60 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to t>e taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it enn be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the Railway Department will not bo responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Passeugers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel free above three and under fourteen years of age, half-price. Horses, Carriages, &c. — The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train ; but when gent, they must be at the Forwardiug Station hnlf-an-hour before the departure of the Truiu. The owneis of Horses must provide means for securing them in the horsebox, aud the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must be made the day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in Carriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up befoiethe end of the journey, before the dog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will not be availuble for Special or Excursion Trains, except the ordinary Time Table ib suspended. Return Tickets for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on the day of issue only; or each additional 25 miles or fraction thereof, one day extra is allowed. Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return 'Jickets until the end of the following Monday, when re-dated as above. All Tickets used for return later than tb» day of iseue must be presented at the Ticket Wiudow, »nd re-dated before the Passengers cuter the Train for the Keturn Journey. Any person neglecting to get his Ticket re-dated will have to pay the ordinary Fare. Special Notice. — To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station Fifteen Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train. *
