Passengers are requested not to enter or leave the cars while in motion. GENERAL CONDITIONS. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. Luggage. — Each person is allowed to take 112lbs. of personal luggage free (cot including merchandise of any kind), and for every 561bs. above the weight, for every 50 miles or frac- j tion of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to t>e taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and th« Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked aucl paid for. Passengers can be booked at Slations only ou condition that there is room in the Tiain. Children under three years of age travel free above three and under fourteen years of age, half-price. Horses, Carriages, &c. — The Railway Department does not uudeitake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train ; but when sent, they mu&t be at the Forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departure of the Train. Theowneis of Horses must provide means for securing them in tho horsebox, and the Railway Department will not be accountable iorauy injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Hortes. At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must be made the day before they ure wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in Carriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up befoiethe end of the journey, before the dog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the ordinary Time Table is suspended. Return lickels for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on the day of issue only; or each additional 25 miles or fraction thereof, one day extra is allowed. Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return licke'ts uuiil the end of the following Monday, when re-dalcd as above. All Tickets used for return later than tie day of isfue must be presented at the licUet Window, and re-dated before tho Passengeis enter the Train for the iieturn Journey. Any person neglecting to get his Ticket re-dated will have to pay the ordinary Fare. Special Notice. — To ensure despatch, Parcels, hxua Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Statioo Fifteen Minutes before advertised t time of departure of Train. *
