♦ The schooner Falcon left Greymouth yesterday for Waitara, with coal for Webster Brothers. The Philarmonic Society will produce this evening, at the Odd Fellows' Hall, the favourite opera of " Maritana." The members are in good practice we learn, and being perfect will perform the music in an excellent manner. We trust to see a large audience present this evening, and it is desired that the patrons will be punctual in their attendance. The b.s. Rangatira arrived yesterday from Manukau. She crossed the Manukau Bar at 2 o'clock on Wednesday morning, and arrived in the roadstead the same evening, after a smart run. Fresh N. W. breeze with rain, on the passage. She had eight passengers for Southern Poits, and none for here. We are indebted to the purser (Mr. R. E. Rawnsley) for full files of Auckland patera and other favours.
