The weights for the Melbourne Cnp hare been declared. Mata, Bst. 2lbs. ; Camballo, 7st. 31bs. The top weight is 9st. 61bs. Melbourne, June 24. The Opposition and corner party object to a division on the Refornh Bill taking place to-nighfc in the Assembly, and threaten to ''stonewall " ia order to gain their point. The Argus of to-day, in a leader on the present state of parties in the House, anticipates that a division will show each party with 42 votes. There is only one doubtful vote. Efforts are being made to bring about a compromise regarding a joint sitting, and to have a clause providing for the same. An eliminated caucus of unofficial Ministerialists was held yesterday to discuss the proposal, but no understanding- was come to. Arrived : Tararua, from Bluff. Adelaide, June 24. The Orient Company's steamship Liguria, which left Plymouth on the 14th May, arrived to-day. King George's Sound, Jane 23. Arrived : P. and O. Company's a.s. Assam, with inward Suez mail, dated London, May 21.
