WEBSTER BROTHERS, AGENTS FOR TARANAKT DISTRICT 0605 h w T)EWAttK OB 1 VILE AMKX) MICAN COUNTERFEITS OF HOLLOWAY'S PILLS AND OINTMENT. I most respectfully take leave to call the attention of the inhabitant of Australasia to the fact that Messrs. HE NRY CURRAN, & Co., Wholesale Druggists, of New York, have Agencies in various parts, and that their Travellers are going all over the country vending SPURIOUS IMITATIONS of my Pills and Ointment, which they make iv New York, and which bear in some instances their trade mark as above; whilst on other labels of this trash it is omitted, the better to deceive you, but the words " New York" are retained. Much of this fictitious stuff is sold in the Auction Rooms of Sydney and elsewhere, and readiiy linds its way into the baok settlements. These are vile frauds, as Ido not allow my Medicines even to be sold in any part of the United States ; they are only made by me at 533, Oxford-street, London. The same people are circulating a report that my business is about to be formed into a Company, which is UTTBitLy false. I most earnestly appeal to that sense o» British justice, which I feel sure 1 may venture upon asking from my kind countrymen and countrywomen in their distaut homes, to assist me, as far as may lay ifi their power, to put down this shameful American Fraud, by cautioniug their friends lest they be duped into buying villainous compounds styled "Hollo, way's Pills and Ointment" with any New York label thereon. Each Pot and Box of the Geuuino Medicines bears the British Government Stamp, with the words "Holloway's Pills and Ointment, London," engraved thereon. On the label ia the address, 533, Oxfokd-street, London, where alone they are manufactured. THOMAS HOLLOW AY. London, February 15, 1876.
