RIFLE MATCH.
URENUI V. TIKORANGI. The third rifle match between the above Volunteers came off at the Urenui rifle range on Tuesday last, which again resulted in a victory for the Urenui team, who won by 15 points. Urenui has now won two matches out of three. The target was 6 x 4. Seven shots at each range. The weather was all that could be desired. The following arc the scores :—: —
There was a fair attendance of the fair sex from Tikorangi, and friends from Pukearuhe, about ninety being on the ground altogether. Iv the eveniug a dance was held at Captain. Good's old house (now Mr. Curtis's), which was kept up with great spirit till about 1 a.m.
