Sellers lwc the Ixmctit of advertising by not booking tlieir cattle a week before the sale, as buyers do not attend a small sale as they do a large one, 159 head were yarded, all of which sold except 20, most of which were cows in good, fresh condition, bnt, not coming "ear the valnc, were withdrawn. Bmall cnlres, 10s. to 505. ; good yearlings, £2 los. and £2 17s. (kl. to HH 7a. (sd. ; three-year-old steers, £"> 1(H, store cows, Hi 10s. to £5 55.; one-and-a-half year old steers, £4 10s.; cows in calf, £5 10s. to £7 10s.; fat first-class cows, £7 17s (id. to £9 55.; spring cart and harness, £22 ; one pair bullocks, yokes, bows, and dray, £33.
