ARRIVAL OF THE HINEMOA WITH ARMED CONSTABULARY.
The Government steamer Hinemoa, from Wellington via Opunake, arrived in the roadstead at eleven o'clock this morning, bat a considerable time elapsed before they were landed. There was a large assemblage on the beach, including Colonel Trimble, Major Tuke, Major Stapp, and several leading citizens. The A.C.'s were inarched to the Marsland Hill barracks, where they are quartered temporarily, and the Hinemoa returned to Wellington direct, in order to bring on His Excellency the Governor and Sir George Grey. A large quantity of munitions o£ war came to hand tins morning.
