LIVE STOCK REPORT.
Taranaki Herald Office, Friday, March 21. Mr. Courtney held' his usual fortnightly Bale at Glenavon, when owing to the constant downpour of rain there were only about a dozen persons at the sale, although about one hundred and thirty head were yarded. One fine lot of seventy-five head of Colonel Trimble's were not offered but held for next sale. The following were the prices realised : big yearlings, £3 12s. Cd. ; 18 months old steers, £4 155. ; qniet heifers forward hi calf, £6 ; dry cows, £5 ; small fat 2£ to 3 year - old steers, £7 to £7 155. ; small" fat heifers, £6 12s. 6d. ; four bullocks, yokes, bows, and dray, £55.
