For Nelson and Southern /Ports, per s.s. 'Taupo,' ou Tuesday, at 7 p.m. For^Oakura, Oknto, Opunake, Hauera, Mauu*tahi (South), Kakaramea, Normanby, aod Carlyle (per Cobb's Coach), every ThuraJay and Snturday, at 7 p.m. For 801 l Block, on Tuesdays and Fridays, at 3.10 p.m. Close at TJcll Block for New Plymouth on Tuesdays aud Fridays,' at ■I p.m. For Mauutrthi (North), every Saturday, at 2 p.m. For Waitaro, daily (Sundays excepted). at 3 p.m., arriving at Waitnra at 5.14 p.m. Close lit Waitara at y a.ni., arriving at Chief Post-office at 1 1.30 a.m. For .Urenui, from New Plymouth, every Tuesday and Friday, at 3.30 p.m., arriving at ; New Plymouth every Wednesday and Saturday, at 1 1.40 a.m. For loglewood, from New Plymouth, every Tuesday at 11.30 a.m., Saturday, at 4.30 p m., arriving at New Plymouth every Tuesday at 4.5 p.m., and Saturday, at 2,30 p.m. A duiiy mail service to and from that township will be established as soon as the line is opened. For Wauganui and Wellington, and Southern Provinces (per Cobb's Coach), on Thursday and Sunday, at 7 p.m. 65§T The English Mail, via San Francisco, ie-vves here .on the 17th October, by the Taranaki for Manukau, and the mail steamer takeß her departure for San Francisco on Monday, the 22nd October. The mail arrives at San Francisco on the loth November and letters sent will reach London about the 6th Decomber. \&*3" The next English Mail via Suez leaves Wellington ou the 21st Octobor, and letters to go by that route should be posted here before the 14th October. The mail arrives at Point de Galle on the 23rd November, and I letters sent • via Brindisi will reach home j about the SHh December. j Travelling letter-boxes will be placed at I Waitara and attached to the train, to permit the posting of letters (with the proper postage affixed) by the public at Waitara and at Bell Block for New Plymouth and Waitara, on other than the regular mail days. A letter receiving-box at Mr. J. llandy's store, corner of Courtenay and Elliot-streets, will be cleared at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily. L. Von Hotter, Jhief Postmaster.
