Porte accepted the proposals of representatives of Russia, Austria, and Germany to send foreign consuls to advise insurgents of Bosina and Herzegovina to lay down their arms and submit the cose so Servia. The Pacha has been appointed special Imperial Commissioner.
August 24. England Franco, Italy. Russia, Germany, and Austria have collectively made proposals to the Porte with regard to the insurrection in Bosina and Herzegovina.
It was telegraphed yesterday that Turkey is concentrating large forces near Mcssa, in consequence of the attitude of Servia.
100,000 of Servia militia havo been called out. The steamer ' Brisbane ' left Singapore for Brisbane on Saturday, three days earlier thau contract time. Sho has 370 Chinese passengers for Cooktown.
The Australian mails via San Francisco were delivered in London on August 25.
The passengers and crew of the ' Aurora,' bound from Adelaide to London, and which took fire at sea and was abandoned, have arrived at Liverpool.
Hussen, Arm Pacha aud Minister of War, has resigned the office of Grand Vizier.
A conflict between Turkey and Servia is strongly apprehended.
August 27. Garribaldi has requested Menolmtta to open subscriptions for wounded Hersegoviuians.
