Notice fixing the Minimum Rates and altering the month for General Meetings, and appointing General Meetings of the Ist, 2nd, 3rd, 4<th, sth, 6th, 7th, Bth, 9th, 10th, llth, 12th, 13th, 14$, 15$, 16th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd Districts. WHEREAS by the 49th Clause of the T V " Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858," power is given to the Superintendent, with the approval of the Provincial Council, by notice to be published in the Government Gazette, to alter the minimum Rates to be imposed in any District. Now therefore I, Frederic Alonzo Carrington, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby, with the approval of the Provincial Council, appoint that the minimum rate to be imposed in all the Districts hitherto constituted under the above recited Ordinance shall be Twopence per acre, excepting in Districts 10, 14, 16, and 18, in which the minimum Rate shall be one penny per acre.
