WANGANUI— JuIy 14

Messrs. Farrah & Co. report that at their sale at Turakina, on the 12th July, cattle and sheep were not brought forward in such quantities as anticipated. One pen of fifteeu average cattle realised £4 10s. ; 270 store sheep realised ss. 6d. A number of hacks were disposed of at ordinary rates. Milch cows were inquired for, and fair values offered. Store sheep are increasing iv value.
