THE HON. MR. GISBORNE.

As there is a requisition in course of signature, requesting this gentleman to be nominated a^ a enndidate to rppros.-ns the District of Egmont iv the House of Representatives, it is but natural that the electors should wish to know something respecting him. The following extract which we take from an nltra-opposition journal gives a very good idea of the character of tho Hon. Mr. Gisborue, and coming from the source it does', cannot bo said to bo in any way biased.
