Matches run on the course during the three days' races to pay .£1 to the race fund, and intimation given to the Stewards. No horse to he allowed to run unless the bond fide property of an officer of the garrison or a Taranaki settler. All entrances to be sent to the Secretary by the 15th of March, at the Masonic Hotel, between theliours of 6 and 10 p.m, iv sealed envelopes with the money enclosed, and to name their colors. The Races to commence each day at 11 o'clock a.m., sharp. If tie public money subscribed will not allow of the sums Advertised to be given, a per centage will -be deducted from the amount of each race ; should the subscriptions allow of any increase, an equal per centage will be added.
