August 15. — Jupiter, schooner, 30 tons, Wright, from Manukau.

August 13. — H.M. screw steam sloop Harrier, 17 guns, Commander Sir Malcolm McGregor, Bait., for Manukau.

C.T. Pirn ; Ariel, 9 guns, 490 tons, screw sloop, Commander J. R. Alexander ; Lyra, 9 guns, 484 tons, screw sloop, Commander R. B. Oldfield ; ,Penguin, 5 guns, 360 tons, screw, Lieut. I. G. G. McHardy ; Persian, 12 guns, brig sloop, 484 tons, Commander Cecil W. Buckley : — Wasp, 13 guns, 970 tons, screw sloop, Commander C. Stirling, was
recently wrecked.] The probability is that Governor Sir George Grey will arrive in Auckland either by the Sidon or the Brisk. Some three or four months ago there was then a rumour that his Excellency might he looked for by the Sidon. — Ibid. The brigantine Clutha, recently arrived from Melbourne via Nelson, has just changed hands. She has been purchased by Messrs. Cruikshank & Co., in conjunction with Capt. Anderson, late of the ship Frowning Beauty, by whom she is commanded. She is laid on for New Plymouth. — Ibid, Augt. 10"
H.M.S. Cordelia 11 guns, Commander Hume, arrived at Sydney on the 15th inst. She left Auckland on 23rd June. — Southern Cross, July 30.
