DEATH OF SIR WILLIAM MOLESWORTH.
Tho death of Sir William Molesworlh, which occurred on ihe 22nd of October, after a brief illness at tbe early oee of forty five, and in the fulness of intellectual vigour, will be sincerely regretted by men of all pnitiei. By the Ministry of which he was a prominent member, his loss will be severely felt. He has fallen before his time. A painful disease, apgravrted by the labors and responsibilities of his now office of Colonial Secretary, carried him off suddenly. With no title to he ranked amongst the great statesmen who have impressed their character upon the age and signalised their career by extraordiunry actions, Sir William Moleiworth yet leaves a name which will be honoured by his countrymen so long in ability, Indus try, and integrity, continue to excite their admira* tion.
It was rumoured that Lord John Russell will be ro. appointed Secretary of the Colomei.
