Accidfnt. — An accident, providentially without fatal consequences, occuired on Thursday last at Tataraimaka to Mathevv Jonas, the hind of Captain King. Wlnle pursuing some wild cattle in company with Mr. W. King he unfottunately fell, and both barrels of his gun going off, tlie ball from one pierced his back under the shoulder blade, and Inking an upward direction c.ime out in front happily without breaking any bone or injuring any vital part--the ball from the other barrel merely glazing the arm. We have much pleasure m stating that the injured man is fast recovering and that the accident is not likely to be attended with mote than temporary inconvenience.
