IT has lately come to my knowledge that spurious " Hollowai/s Pills and Ointment" are being sold by a peison in Melbourne, who supplies dealers with the same in most parls of Australasia. It is therefore particularly necessary to observe that the Genuine Medicines have the words " Ilolhway's Pills and Ointment" woven in the Watermark of the Paper of tho Direction Books, Bimilar to a Bank Note ; and one of which is affixed to every Pot and Box : the same words are engraved on the Government Stamp, which is pasted on every Pot and Box, and to imitate which is Felony ; without such marks the Medicines are not genuine. fJ3* The Genuine Medicines may be bad of Mr. WILLIAM GRAY, agent in New Plymouth. If any Parties have been imposed upon by buying Spurious Medicines, they are earnestly requested to communicate with the above named Agents, arid also to kindly send me direct to England full particulars to my addiess, 244, Strand, London. (Signed) THOMAS HOLLOWAV. March 25th, 1854-.
