MEETING OF CHURCH MEMBERS.
A general meeting of Members of the Churcli of England was held on Wednesday evening last, at the School House Vivian-strea, for the purpose of taking into consideration the pastoral letter recent ly addressed by the Bishop of New Zealand to the congregations of the Church of England witliin the dioceae. Major Lloyd in the chair.
The businrs3 of the meeting wai opened by prayer by the Rev. H. Govett.
The Chairman stated thnt the object of the meeting was to read and disiuss the Bishop'a letter.
The letter was read by the Rev. H. Ciovett.
The following resolutions where then put to the inetrt'tig, and without exception carried unanimomly : —
