The minutes of the proceedings at the last meeting having been read, THE SCAD. CATTLE TRESr.VSS. Mr. Good mov<d the lirst leading of a Bill to amend the Cattle Trespass Ordinance. Mr. Pahris seconded the motion, and it was carried unanimously. The hill was then read a first tune. Mr. (ioon subsequently withdrew the catt c trespass bill. Mr. Vicnißsgnve notice that at the next meeting of the Council he would move the tallowing resolution — " That this <. ouncil is desirous of undit taking the management of that portion of (he Land Fund which, uudtr the present instruction!) is applicable to emigration purposes." .Mr. Chii.man gave notice that at the ne.\t meet.ng of the Council he would Iny on the table, and move the fust reading of a Dill tt> increase the efficiency of the ConMabuury Force, from His Ilonorthe tiuperlniendeut.
