Wn.us of London, by which we 'euru, on what must he deemed undeniable authoiily, that New Zealand will not be long without the advantages of steam communication between her settlein nuts. The consummation of this impoitnnt fact may not, it is true, be so near as some have hoped; but it assumes a inoic ccitain shape than it has till now taken. The firm above mentioned, long known as being intimately connected with the commerce of this colony, state that they havu neaily completed a contract for two vessels of from 250 to 300 tons, and express a confident hope that the liisl will be ready to sail in June.
