AT a Meeting of the Committee appointed to tiike into consideration tlie best means for providing increased Church Accommodation for this Settle - ment, It was Resolved,^ — That a subscription should be forthwith entered into t"> form a Permanent Fund for the above purpose ; and it was also considered expedient that out of such funds St. Mnry's Church should be first of nil enlarged, so ns to aft»id 120 additional sittings, the esiimaie'l cost of which is £650. Donations for the above purpose will be Hiankfully received by ihe Rev. Mr. Govett, the Rev. G. Bayley, the Rev. G. Kingdon, M~jor Lloyd, Mr. Vickers, Mr. Curtis, Mr. Norris. Mr. Parris, and Mr. VV. C. King, and C. ,M. Kingdon, Members of the Committee, or may be paid to the account of the Rev. Mr. Guvclt, Treasurer, at the Savings' Bank.
