LETTERS TO THE EDITOR OF THE “LEADER”

SOMETHING FOR THE POSTMAN Sir,—At this time of the year, when the giving of presents is ail the fashion, there is one person who should not he forgotten, and I crave space to make an appeal on his behalf' and that one is the postman. In all weathers' he carried out his work; is a very welcome visitor at times when his messages bear “the blue cross”; and he is always courteous and obliging. May I suggest that those who are not the tenants of private boxes do what the writer always does at this time, and that is, go—“A 808 IN.” Temuka, Dec. 23.
