; i “** ( HALL PACKED Foil ANNUAL CONCERT LARGE AND VARIED 1 PROGRAMME i The Presbyterian Sunday School Hall was filled to capacity last evening, on the occasion of the annual concert conducted by the Sunday School and Bible Class pupils. The varied programme was much appreciated, and there were a number of encores. Proceeding were opened by the Rev. C. A. Kennedy, who welcomed all present. The following was the programme, Sunday School items first:—Opening chorus, “God Bless Our Native Land,” company; song, “Flower Bells,” junior girls; song, “To n Miniature,” Ngaire Davis; dialogue, “Molly’s Wish,” junior, girls and Ruth Alctuues; pianoforte solo. Dorothy Gudsell; song, “Rendezvous,” Coral Pierce and Noeline Findlay (recalled); song, “Helping Mother," intermediate girls; recitation, "Cheerfulness,” Olive Hopkinson irecalled) ; song, “Gardeners,” song. “Spring,” junior girls; dialogue, “Old and New,” J. Coombs, AW 'Wright and Les Whitfield; song, “Picaninnies,” M. Paterson, B. .Mitchell. J. Wright and J. Washington; song, “Jolly Little Geisha,” senior girls; dialogue, “Seven Girls and a Ghost,” senior girls and Les Whitfield; closing chorus, “Little White Hill of Dreams,” company; interval: pianoforte duel, Misses X. Mcßride and P. Austin; song, “Floral Dance;” Mr Syme; recitation. Mr Wills: violin solo, Mr Mathieson: smug. Miss Martin; playetle. “A Small Middle," Bible Class girls: recitation, Air AC. Buchan; song, Rev. A. J. H. Dow.
