HOLIDAY’ ARRANGEMENTS. AT TEMUKA. Following are the postal arrangements at Temuka during the holiday period: — On Tuesday, 24th December, a counter delivery of all classes of correspondence will be made, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Christmas Day (AA 7 ednesday, 25th December) will be observed as a close holiday in the postal and telegraph branches. The telephone exchange will be open from 9 to 10 1 a.m. and from 5 to 6 p.m. Boxing Day (Thursday, 26th December) will be observed as a closer holiday in the postal and telegraph branches. All mails will close at 7.30 a.m. There will be no postman’s or rural delivery. The telephone exchange will be open from 9 to 10 a.m. and from 7 to S p.m. New Year’s Daj' (Ist January, 1930) will be observed as a close holiday in the postal and telegraph branches.
